The problem:
Exporting an iMovie or Quicktime project can be a frustrating and time consuming experience. Quicktime settings are hard to remember and it takes time to adjust the settings to export to more than one format.
The solution:
rooVid Lite(obviously). rooVid Lite allows you to create profiles that contain the details for how you want the exported video formatted. Creating profiles is easy. Select from our pre-defined options or create a custom profile giving you all the options for exporting a QuickTime movie.
  • easily convert and send your video to iTunes for use with your iPod
  • queue up as many conversions as you need
  • drag and drop support
  • pause / resume individual conversions
  • prioritize running conversions
  • easily format your video for the web
  • create a custom profile allowing you direct access to the QuickTime options
  • Growl support
rooVid Lite 1.0 was released on March 13, 2006. Later this year, there will be a shareware version released. The shareware version will have a handful of added features and will cost a small, not yet determined, fee. Don't worry, there will always be a lite version and no features will be taken away from the existing lite version.

The shareware version is just starting to come together. If you're interested in helping test the beta versions of rooVid, send me a note via roovid-sw@roobasoft.com
