I’ve previously hinted at working on a second application. Today I open the application up to the public. rooSwitch beta 3 is available at http://roobasoft.com/rooSwitch What is rooSwitch?

rooSwitch exists to make it easy for you to manage different copies of almost any applications data. You then switch amongst the profiles to activate the data you wish to use. It’s like a multi-user environment for just one application.

Note that the screencast on the product page is out of date and is being updated tonight. The newer screencast will have audio and will be using the beta 3 version.

The current beta is free, but will timeout 30 days from now (don’t worry, I’ll update it before the 30 days expires). When finished, rooSwitch will be sold as shareware at a reasonable price (determined later).

I’ve put a lot of time into rooSwitch but there’s still plenty loose ends for me to tie. Please give it a look and let me know (feedback@roobasoft.com) if you run into any issues or need any help at all.
