Things will be quieter than usual here. My family (one wife, one 2.5 year old and one 8 month old) and I are moving from NH to Boise, Idaho. A truck picks up our stuff tomorrow and then we start driving out in our mini-van. We plan to arrive in Idaho on Tuesday, but we’re not going to rush.

The common question I’ve gotten is “Why Idaho?”. The answer is, family. My parents live in Boise and my wife’s family is all in the San Francisco area. We needed to get out West and we needed to find some place affordable. Boise was affordable so we went with that.

What about my day job? I’ll be working from home in Boise and flying back to the mother ship every so often. I’m really excited about working from home and only having to keep one office clean/organized. I really hope it works out as well as I imagine it.

Back to packing!

update 05.11.06: We arrived safely on Tuesday. Still unpacking a lot of stuff and trying to figure out my schedule.
