Apparently this storm wasn’t all hype. I shoveled the driveway twice. Once with ~4 inches of snow and then again with ~8 inches. My back hurts, but I’m thankful I took two rounds of shoveling. It’s tempting to just wait for it to end, but I’d rather not wrestle with 12 inches if I didn’t have to.

In between shoveling and entertaining the children I was able to get some stuff done. It was nice to stare out the window at the snow while I processed some thoughts.

The news channels labeled this storm “December Nor’Easter“. I guess Nor’Easter ’05 was taken last season.
